LOVE THIS! Sweet, tangy, creamy, perfect! This is wonderful and I will definately be making it again. This is a thick creamy dressing and will work as a dressing or dip.

Followed the recipe exactly. It was runny and I didn't like the combination of flavors.

I needed a dessert for a dinner party that included a diabetic, and this sounded great, but it was even better than I anticipated! I used Splenda rather than honey. Being unsure if others might like the basil, I omitted it. If you choose to use it, fresh would be the better choice. I served this in a small compote beside a large bowl of fresh fruit--it is absolutely fabulous. Even using low-fat products, this had a lemony-cream cheese flavor that everyone loved. It was all devoured quickly. This recipe is definitely a keeper.

I liked this, but I would use the suggested fresh basil, instead of the dried basil that I used. It was a very nice change. My friends even had seconds.

Thanks, Carol. We liked this. Surprising and refreshing. "Hmmm...what's in this? Mint?? Oh, basil! Yum!" I served it shortly after making it, but also found that the flavors set up nicely if allowed to blend overnight. Tossed leftover dressing on mixed greens with grilled chicken and fruit, and that was good, too. For delicate appearance, make sure to finely mince the basil.
