For this tasty pierogi casserole, sauerkraut, onion, mushrooms, and pasta are combined and baked in a rich, buttery sauce. If you are making this ahead and are going to reheat it in the oven you may have to add a little water. If cold, bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

Full of flavor, this pierogi-layered casserole is nothing short of rich and hearty. It's a wonderful change from the usual humdrum casserole.

These take time to prepare, but they're worth it! Yukon Gold potatoes are mashed with cottage cheese and butter, then wrapped in a circle of dough. The pierogi are boiled and then fried. Serve with sour cream, butter and fried onions, if desired.

Making perogies is a lot of work, so get their delicious flavor in a casserole instead. Lasagna noodles divide layers of cottage cheese, cheesy mashed potatoes, and bacon and onion.

Beef and pork-filled pierogi make a great traditional Polish meal. This is a recipe my Polish grandmother used to make. Although I don't like a lot of Polish food, this is a family favorite I love. It is a lot easier and faster if two people make it together.

Cube steak is dredged in flour, browned on the stove, then finished in the oven topped with onions and green peppers! This is a good recipe for families that have good taste but can't afford really expensive steaks. The kids love it so much they call it Mom's famous cube steak! It's great with mashed potatoes and gravy!
