Layered Shrimp Dip

"Olives not only make this creamy layered shrimp dip look pretty, they add a nice flavor twist to an otherwise straightforward party favorite. Crab may be substituted for shrimp."

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (8 ounce) jar cocktail sauce
  • 1/2 pound cooked baby shrimp
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 1 (2.25 ounce) can sliced black olives, drained

Directions

  1. Spread cream cheese on a medium round serving platter. Layer with cocktail sauce. Top with baby shrimp, green onions and olives. Chill in the refrigerator at least 30 minutes before serving.
