Original Recipe Yield 6 flags

Ingredients

1/4 cup margarine or butter
1 (10 ounce) package regular marshmallows
6 cups KELLOGG'S* RICE KRISPIES* cereal
Red frosting

Directions

In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt margarine or butter and marshmallows in a microwave set on HIGH for 2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute. Stir until mixture is smooth.
Add KELLOGG'S* RICE KRISPIES* cereal, stirring until well coated. Spread cereal mixture into a 33x23x5 cm (13x9x2 in) baking pan coated with cooking spray or butter. Allow cereal mixture to cool slightly. Cut into rectangles for flags.
Decorate with red frosting. Use a leaf-shaped stencil if desired.

Stove Top Directions:
1. Melt margarine in large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.
2. Stir in KELLOGG'S* RICE KRISPIES* cereal until well coated. Using lightly buttered spatula, press into buttered 3.5 L (13 x 9-inch) pan.
3. Allow mixture to cool.
1 10-oz. package of regular marshmallows also equals 1.25 L (5 cups) of miniature marshmallows.
