I made a double batch (I had that many bananas!), so it was four loaves at once. I followed the recipe exactly as written EXCEPT for the sliced bananas part. My bananas could NOT be sliced as they were too ripe--black, really! So, mashed took the place of "sliced"! I tested the loaves at 50 minutes and they were done perfectly. (That could be my oven, although the oven thermometer indicates my oven runs true to temp.). Anyway, this is one great recipe. The banana bread was excellent! I'll be making this recipe again, often.
