Great suggestions by other reviewers. It's important to wet the rim of the glass with a cut lime before dipping in the salt. This is a must. If you've got any smoked salt on hand, use THAT! Off the hook! Also, if you don't mind sacrificing a small amount of tequila, you can do what I do. Slice a jalapeno in half then drop it, seeds and all, into a a bottle of tequila. Just let it sit in there, infuse, and make nice-nice. Then use this to make your drinks. Umm um um! Be warned, the longer it sits the hotter it gets, but man, what a flavor punch! I have made some award-winning drinks with this method. Cheers, Y'all!
