These are so yummy, I won't make peas any other way now. I keep coming back to this recipe and love that I don't need to add much salt to bring out the flavors.

Oh how wonderful this recipe tastes! Honestly, I have never had better tasting peas. I followed the recipe exactly. I thought at first a whole "medium" onion would be too much but it was just right. The peas are not at all mushy. Frozen peas are the way to go unless you shell fresh ones. Medium low heat using a gas oven is how I made them and 15 minutes was all it took once the peas were added.

Italian Peas' Haiku: "Easy, tasty peas. But they didn't keep their 'pop.' Still, I'm glad I tried!" I love frozen peas - their bright green color and satisfying pop, but this recipe made them more shrivel-ey than I like. On the other hand, the simple addition of garlic, onion and chick. stock was delightful, and /licks-lips/, all the better w/ a sprinkle of parmesan cheese on top!

Pretty good. Don't usually like peas. I'm always looking for ways to spruce up vegetables.

Liked this recipe, but even with cutting back to 1/2 onion it was still overpowering to the dish. Even so, I will make this again - I'll just use 1/4 of an onion.

Very good. Nice flavor. I thawed the peas in warm water then just heated through as a previous reviewer suggested. We liked them and would make again - maybe will add some mushroom next time!
