Made this as a last minute side dish for Christmas dinner. It was a hit! Didn't have any fresh basil, but it didn't seem to matter. There wasn't any left!

I used fresh mozzarella also and it was a hit! I think that it would also be good with slivers of salami! I will make again!

Really nice recipe; works great for lunch!! I didnt have pepperoni so I used italian sausage which was really nice. My boyfriend called it "a revelation" !!!

This is a great italian salad. I've made it on numerous occasions...sometimes I substitute large croutons for the bread and it's still very yummy. highly recommend.
