Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can stewed tomatoes, cut up
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 (16 ounce) package bow tie pasta, cooked and drained
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well drained
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. In a skillet, cook beef, onion and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Transfer to a slow cooker. stir in the tomato sauce, tomatoes and seasonings. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or until bubbly.
  2. Increase heat to high; stir in pasta, spinach and cheeses. Cover and cook for 10 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted.
