Original recipe makes 5 dozen blondies Change Servings


  1. PREHEAT oven to 350 degrees F. Grease 15 x 10-inch jelly-roll pan.
  2. COMBINE flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt in medium bowl. Beat sugar, butter and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in pumpkin. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Spread into prepared pan.
  3. BAKE for 20 to 25 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely in pan; spread with Maple Icing. Cut into bars.
  4. BEAT 6 ounces softened cream cheese, 2 tablespoons softened butter or margarine and 2 cups sifted powdered sugar in small mixer bowl until smooth. Add 1 to 2 teaspoons maple flavoring.

I made these for a party and every woman there wanted the recipe to take home with them. One of my male neighbors stopped by the next day to let me know how much he had enjoyed them.

Not the best pumpkin dessert I've tried. I made it for a birthday party and wound up not taking it because I just wasn't that happy with them.

Excellent! I made these for my Halloween party at work and they were a huge hit!! The maple flavoring makes it!

These were a huge hit at the Halloween party, although a bit messy. Yum!

I baked these in 2 9" cake pans. I had to increase the baking time to 35 minutes but they still came out moist and delicious. I also opted to frost them with pre made cream cheese frosting because I was in a hurry. Cut into little triangles they were gobbled up in a flash!

a big hit with almost any crowd ... cut them small and you'll feed many! I put holloween sprinkles on top for that extra touch!

Awesome blondies! They were so moist, and were perfect little bite-size blondies. Perfect for little finger desserts. The icing was great, I added a tablespoon of maple syrup for flavor in the icing. Very yummy! They got snatched up quickly.

They are so easy my 11 year old made them herself! The whole family loved them. Definately a 'make them again'!!
