Original Recipe Yield 1 - 2 pound loaf
 

Ingredients

  • 3 1/3 cups bread flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup oat bran
  • 2 tablespoons dry milk powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/8 cups buttermilk
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast or bread machine yeast

Directions

  1. Place the ingredients into the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select the setting for white bread. Press Start.
