LAND O LAKES® Light Sour Cream
1 (8 ounce) package
cream cheese, softened
chopped pitted ripe olives
LAND O LAKES® Hot Pepper Monterey Jack Cheese, shredded
1 (2 ounce) jar
diced pimento, drained
sliced green onion
This was definately a hit at our family gathering.
Its delicious! Although make sure you serve it with some sturdy tortilla chips, the dip is a little bit thick, so the chips tended to crumble. Fritos would work well.
It was so easy and inexpensive to make. I'll be adding it to my regular recipes now.
It was ok, I doctored it up quite a bit and served it w/ veggies. probably won't make again
This was really good. I made it for an open house and had many compliments, even a request for the recipe. The only change I made was using more olives, a 4.25 oz can. I served with blue corn tortilla chips, which went with it very well.
I have used this recipe every holiday! Use pepperjack cheese and it turns out great! Not too spicy, and has a great flavor. Even kids like it! Very festive!
I LOVE this recipe! I couldn't stop eating it. I left out the olives because my husband doesn't like them and I added a lot more green onions and more hot pepper cheese. I found I also like this dip better warm so I seved it in a fondue pot and it is awesome!
I had to really play around with this one to get it to taste good. First batch was too mild; wanted some kick to it. Then I thought it was too thick so I tried adding some milk (about 1/4 c.), but that was a HUGE mistake. Third time was the charm! I added 1/4 t. of cayenne pepper and it just got better with age!!
