Weight Watchers Reduced Fat Cream Cheese Spread, softened
freshly ground black pepper
45 calorie whole wheat bread (toasted, if desired)
leafy green lettuce leaves
medium tomato slices
ultra thin, lower sodium, honey ham slices
Dash crushed red pepper flakes
This was a delicious sandwich! Flavor-profile-wise, the guacamole and honey mustard don't blend well, but in a single bite there is usually one flavor that overwhelms the other. This way the flavors don't exactly compete with each other. You only end up tasting the honey mustard or the guacamole.
I might suggest using one or the other in two different ham sandwiches. I am actually going to do that next, a nice cream cheese and honey mustard ham sandwhich. Yum. The guacamole I used was homemade, so it seemed to dominate all the different flavors. Though, keep in mind, this was by no means a bad characteristic. It was delicious.
