Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup orange marmalade
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup prepared Italian salad dressing
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons grated orange peel
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3/4 pound beef flank steak

Directions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the first nine ingredients; mix well. Pour 1 cup marinade into a large resealable plastic bag; Cover and refrigerate remaining marinade. Add beef to the bag. Seal and turn to coat; refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight, turning occasionally.
  2. Drain and discard marinade from beef. Grill, uncovered, over medium heat or broil 4 in. from heat for 10-12 minutes on each side or until beef reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a meat thermometer should read 145 degrees F; medium, 160 degrees F; well-done, 170 degrees F), basting frequently with reserved marinade and turning once.
