"Grilled mozzarella sandwiches your entire family will love!" — Pam Anderson
Watch video tips and tricks
1/2 cup melted butter
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
12 slices good quality Italian bread
1 (8 ounce) package shredded mozzarella cheese
2 teaspoons dried oregano, divided
1 (24 ounce) jar vodka marinara sauce, warmed
pretty tasty alternative to a classic grilled cheese, a sophisticated version perhaps!
This was good. The cheese didn't melt before turning the sandwiches, so a bunch of it fell out. Other than that it was easy, and the dipping sauce was good.

I don't usually make sandwiches for dinner, but this sounded good. My family loved it, said it tasted like mozzarella sticks at a restaurant, only better! Not to mention it was quick and easy!
Makes my mouth water just thinking about it!
I totally liked the idea except I burnt the bread trying to melt the cheese. I'm sure it would have came out better without the charcole taste... a little bland but I'll make it again i think.
My husband is pretty picky and he LOVED this recipe. We ate it for two consecutive nights!!
We all loved this and the homemade marinara pam suggested in the news letter. i couldnt find italian bread so i used sourdough.
