Made these on the weekend for Thanksgiving. Used olive oil instead of walnut oil (although I'm sure walnut would be even better). My brother in law told me they were the best green beans he has ever had. Thanks Tina.

Great recipe. Very easy. I had a large dinner party and these were a HIT, for people who liked nuts. Sent my husband to buy ingredients, he couldn't find walnut oil. I substited olive oil. Sure would have been better other way. BUT still great.
