Green Beans with Almonds

Ingredients

  • 1 (16 ounce) package frozen French-style green beans
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Place the beans in a saucepan and cover with water; cook until crisp-tender. Meanwhile, in a skillet over low heat, toast almonds in butter. Remove from the heat; stir in lemon juice and salt. Drain beans. Add almond mixture and toss to coat.
