I did follow another users suggestion and added the whole chicken then removed it and added just the meat. I also added a cup of carrots. My husband and I both agreed this was the best chicken noodle soup we've ever had!

I followed the alternate recipe provided by Chessacat in their review on Oct 28, and it was super easy and scrumptous. I bout pre chooped onion, carrots, and what not a the grocery store which cut down on my prep time so I was able to serve this much faster to my sick family!

I omitted the salt as others had suggested, my husband said it was the best chicken noodle soup he had ever had!

Good Soup added a cup of carrots and didnt cook my noodles in oil or anything just threw them in about 10 mins or so before serving. Very easy and simple!

I love this recipe!! It's both easy to make and very tasty. I made this with leftover chicken and frozen broth and it was really good, but when I used a fresh chicken, boiled it, and made the soup in fresh broth it was to die for!!
