Used this recipe to frost "Black Magic Cake" from this site, and it made an absolutely delicious cake, that got rave reviews from everyone at work. I doubled the recipe to frost a layer cake, and had enough for thick layers of frosting on each layer, as well as around the outside. Not overly sweet, but very nutty and rich, which was a wonderful combination with the dark chocolate cake. I didn't add the cornstarch, just made sure I boiled it long enough to properly thicken. I waited until the sauce was boiled and thickened before adding the nuts, coconut and vanilla. Will make again and again....YUMMY!!
