Yum! Just like a good Chinese restaurant's! This is very spicy (normal for General Tso's Chicken). The technique for coating the chicken is something I had not heard of before, and it worked great! The coating gets nice and crunchy and stays on the chicken. I followed the recipe almost exactly... just used fresh ginger instead of ground, black pepper instead of white, and added some broccoli while cooking the sauce. I saved a little time and some clean-up by using one large non-stick chef pan for the entire process: I poured out the oil and wiped the pan with a paper towel after frying the chicken, then returned 2T of the hot, used oil back into the hot pan to continue with the onions, etc.
