Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 onions, sliced
  • 1 pound fresh okra, sliced in 1/8 inch pieces
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground turmeric

Directions

  1. Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat and saute onion until translucent. Stir in okra and turmeric. Reduce heat to low and cook 15 minutes, or until tender.
