Original Recipe Yield 24 fruit balls
 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup currants
  • 1 cup chopped pitted dates
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • 2/3 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup golden raisins
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar for dusting

Directions

  1. In the container of a food processor or blender, combine the dates, sunflower seeds, pecans, raisins, and cocoa powder. Transfer to a bowl, and stir in honey. Press into 1 inch balls, and roll in confectioners' sugar. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
