A simple recipe that the whole family can help with. Egg roll wrappers are stuffed with a mixture of meat and vegetables then fried to golden perfection in hot oil. Serve with a sweet and sour dipping sauce.

A recipe I know all Filipinos are proud of! Lumpia (shanghai type) is a type of egg roll, except it's mainly filled with meat. You could use pork or beef or both! It's a yummy recipe and great to serve as finger food. I like to use both beef and pork but you can substitute one for the other. VERY EASY!

Deep fried lumpia rolls filled with a mixture of beef, pork and vegetables. Great for parties as they can be prepared ahead of time and frozen, then fried when you're ready to use.

This is my grandma's lumpia and pancit recipe that she has been making since before the family moved to the U.S. when my dad was a child. This is very popular with both family and friends. As soon as my friends in high school discovered my grandma was in town, my house became THE place for lunch!

Make a big batch of these ribs because they will disappear quickly! Ribs simmered in soy sauce, onions and star anise are finished with a baked-on glaze of honey, ginger, soy and Worcestershire sauce and a touch of lemon.

I was introduced to Lumpia (Filipino egg rolls) by a woman I used to work with. This is my version of them, which I think is a more Americanized version.
