I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 because I had to make a few changes to get it the way I like it. Here's what I did: Doubled the garlic (I like garlic heavy hummus) Omitted the salt Doubled the olive oil Added 1 tablespoon of lemon juice Added a small amount of water as it was blending in the food processor instead of using bean liquid (I had drained mine for using a few beans to garnish a salad, otherwise I would have used the bean liquid) Initial taste test: Very yummy and should be more awesome tomorrow.

I am glad I found this. I have seen Hummus on foodnetwork but didnt know what it was. I have told to use this instead of a mayonaise or other fatening things. I bought several cans of the beans but didnt know what to do with them. This gives me lots of ideas thank you.

The title says it all..."extra easy" and so good! I added about a tsp. of lemon juice and used my Magic Bullet to combine the ingredients. I'll definitely use this recipe again.

I used a 19 oz. tin of beans as it was all I could find. As per other reviews, I added more garlic (3 cloves), halved cumin, and added a tbsp. lemon juice. I LOVE it!! I serve it drizzled with olive oil, and finely chopped roasted red pepper. This is definitely something I will make over and over again!

I didn't have any tahini, so I was pleased to find this recipe. But, I was even more pleased with how easy it was to make, and how delicious it was. My family loved it, including my picky kids. I love that I can make it any time because it calls for ingredients that are pantry staples at our house. Delicious with veggies, pita bread, chips, or on sandwiches.

Followed other suggestions, cut cumin in 1/2, added 1TBS lemon juice and a dash of basil. Thought it would be for my lunch tomorrow but my daughter has already claimed 1/2 for her lunch and the rest of the family is eating from mine!
