Ethiopian Cabbage Dish Recipe Reviews - Allrecipes.com (Pg. 14)

Very good flavor, but it takes longer than 30 mins to cook the potatoes--well, for me it did. More like 45 mins, unless you chop the potatoes really small. Otherwise, great dish!! I'll have a lot of leftovers and will serve over rice tomorrow. Thanks!

As is, this rates a 4, but with modifications a 5. I agree with previous reviewers: Reduce oil to 1/4 c., double the spices (salt to taste), add garlic clove. I made the mistake of reversing the order of the cabbage and potatoes -- will put them in at the same time. Definitely will make this again, though have to add meat (perhaps a smoked sausage) for family.

A little bland but followed some reviews and added a splash of vinegar. I liked trying something new including cabbage.

Great recipe! Husband loved it, too! Definitely double the spices, and a little ginger is a nice touch as well.

This is a delicious dish. For the most flavor, be sure to cook each part the recommended length of time.

I like spice and basically used 1tsp. of all the spices. I also cooked using 1/4 cup of olive oil. That is just for my preference. The dish is wonderful. The cabbage cooked down with the potatoes staying in nicely intact cubes. It is healthy and delicious!!!
