Wonderful waffels. I did not separate the eggs, just beat until smooth, I also used Splenda instead of sugar. Otherwise followed recipe; I think next time I will follow review which suggested to use 1/4 cup cornstarch for crispness. My daughter-in-law suggested adding some cinnamon sugar next time which I will try. Will let everyone know how that turns out.

As a gift, received a waffle iron. My daughter gave me a recipe with yeast and honey. On Daily Recipe coincidentally, there was Emma's Belgian Waffles. I had all the ingredients, made them and the recipe is a "keeper". It's easy, delicious and is my husband and I enjoyed it. They are now in the freezer for future use. Thank you.

I added 1/2 cup apple sauce to the mix. Not only does this add sweetness but moistness, flavor and a little fiber too!

My Kids and my made this waffles this morning in our new double waffle maker and we all loved them, I would only use next time a little less salt. Thank you for sharing the recipe

So good. Light and fluffy on the inside with a great crunch on the outside. These are the perfect waffle and would be great with any topping; although, we chose simple maple syrup.
