I give this 5 stars and wonder why more people aren't making this. I agree with the strawberry cheesecake taste, which is why I opted to make a nilla wafer crust and serve pie style. This is a super recipe - perfect for Easter (or any holiday)! Looks pretty once set up is really yummy.

Well...my mother, who is an awesome cook, and I made this together on Easter. We followed it by the letter. Then...my entire family, including extended family, all sat around a big table and tried it. It was not exactly what we were expecting. Not really what we would call a Mousse. It tasted more like a whipped cheesecake without the pie crust. I'm thinking about trying that next time. Don't get me wrong...the only reason I gave it one star is because it was, in fact, misleading. If they changed the name to cheesecake...then I may give it more stars. Sorry...

This is a very easy to make up. I used it as a filling for a cake that I made. Everyone at my office loved it. Very light and not to sweet. Will be making it again tonight but with Raspberry jello and fresh raspberries. YUM!

I read through the reviews before I made this, just to gauge what others thought of it. One in particular thought this tasted like a fluffy cheesecake filling so I thought I'd make this into a low-budget cheesecake. I made my own graham pie crust, used the whole whipped topping tub in the filling and chopped 1 1/2 cups of the fresh strawberries and then folded them into the filling. After pouring the filling into the pie crust, I decorated the top with the remaining strawberries. Though it wasn't my husband's favorite treat, the kids and I enjoyed this. It was great for using pantry ingredients I had on hand which made it extremely budget friendly and it was easy as.......pie!

For being very low sugar and low fat, this was delicious. My mother, who is on the South Beach diet, especially loved it because it is something different she's allowed to eat! I wouldn't exactly call this mousse, as its consistency is thicker, but it still tastes great.

This was very easy to make and was yummy. It satisfied my craving for something cool, light, creamy and fruity. I followed the recipe except that I added extra strawberries and used 2 cups cool whip in the mixture.
