ok so this ice cream turned out very good... i was honestly impressed. but i must say, it scared me of the amount of heavy cream! it turned out very creamy which was nice if i was allowed to eat that kind of stuff! luckily i made this for a bunch of brother in laws and they loved it!

This is so good, I could not believe it. I tried it after being in the freezer about 3 hours, and it was perfectly firm, yet soft. Just the way I like it. It was completely frozen the next day, and was just like store bought, only better.

This is a really yummy, easy recipe! My 4 year old said, "this tastes just like store bought!" That is a great compliment to me! My only change would be, to pour it into a bowl and stir every hour or so, my chocolate chips sank to the bottom. Over all a GREAT recipe and I will certainly be making it over and over! Thanks!

This recipe is easy and very tasty! Since we don't have an ice cream maker, it's perfect. It is very creamy and the longer it freezes, the better. We let ours freeze for a few days and then the consistency was harder. Enjoy! It's a new family favorite!

This is a great recipe - easy to make and very tasty, but I followed another reviewer's suggestions and used the mint rather than peppermint extract. The latter I've used in baking quite a bit and it does have a much different flavor than the mint. The mint extract was far superior. We also used regular whipping cream rather than heavy and the canned milk was fat free. We not only tried this with mini chips but also shaved a chocolate bar, which came out very nicely rather than cold small chunks. Lastly, we did not put it in the baking pan but made it in our homemade ice cream maker and it came out fantastic! A huge hit with family and friends while camping!!!

This really good, just like store bought. I didn't have the full 2 cups of heavy whipping cream but I had peppermint coffee creamer so I used about 3/4 cup to top of the cream. Sooo good!
