Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Mix cabbage, Cheddar cheese, onion, cream of celery soup, and butter in a large bowl. Mixture will be dry. Transfer to a large baking dish, spreading vegetables evenly; sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Cover baking dish with aluminum foil.
  3. Baked in preheated oven for 45 minutes and remove foil. Continue baking until bubbly and lightly browned, about 15 minutes more.

Wow! I followed the recipe exactly (I made a double batch) and my family gobbled it up! My husband said he thought he didn't like cabbage... but with recipes like this he'd change his mind. Easy and delicious, thanks!

very tasty i changed recipe a little used cream of celery soup with 1/2 cup of mayonnaise mixed and used 1 pack ritz crackers crumbs mixed with 1/2 cup of butter for the topping.YUMMY!!

This was ok... I really like cabbage and cheese so this really peeked my interest..however... the two aren't necessarily good together.. It was ok but not good.. the two textures didn't necessarily complement each other. Sorry I really hate to not give a good review but with this one I really just can't ... sorry.. but maybe it's just me... you decide...
