2 (6 ounce) frozen lobster tails
1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning

Directions

Preheat the oven's broiler.
Thaw the lobster tails partially and use kitchen scissors to cut the shells open lengthwise down the back. Brush the exposed meat with olive oil and season with lemon pepper. Place on a broiler pan with the opening facing upwards.
Broil the tails about 6 inches from the heat source until they are opaque and slightly browned at the edges, about 10 minutes.

YES- VERY EASY-START TO FINISH. I HAVEN'T COOKED THEM IN YEARS! MAKE SURE THEY ARE 6"MINIMUM. BELOW THE BROILER. ADD 3-5 MIN. PER OZ. OVER 6 OZ. KEEP AN EYE ON THEM. THANKS FOR THE RECIPE.

the shells caught fire and smoked like crazy even at eight inches away from the broiler. took them out and they werent done. put them back in after cutting off the shells and they dried out. may be operator error, but this one wont stay in my recipe box.

Excellent and fast! The lobsters were great - I ate without using butter - the olive oil added a great, less fattening taste. Will definitely make again.

Everything the recipe boasted it true. This was a very simple and easy recipe and didn't take but a few minutes. I was concerned because I had these partially frozen lobster tails, but this recipe was perfect for them. They turned out moist and delicious. With a little fresh lemon served on the side... perfection! Thanks for a delicious, quick, and easy recipe.

Good! I didn't have lemon pepper but I used course black pepper and squeezed lemon juice over when I served them. I also cut off all the soft inner shell and left the hard bottom to leave more meat exposed while broiling. Some of the family didn't like the texture of them broiled and prefers steaming them.
