Everyone loves this pie! If you are looking for an easy recipe for a lemon meringue pie..this is it! I used a NILLA pie crust. I only used 1 box of lemon gelatin because it is all I had. It still came out great, but next time I will use 2 boxes, as recipe calls for. I felt it was easy to make and very delicious! Will be making it again soon!

This doesn't much resemble Lemon Meringue Pie. However, it is very good - like a good lemon icebox pie, with cool whip topping!

It was good and simple to make, but I knocked it one star because it is quite time-consuming. Also, the crust ends up having an inordinate amount of fat - it practically swims in fat when you take it out of the oven.

I wouldn't make this recipe again and would give it maybe a 1.5 The wafer crust was too sparse and sweet. The white frosting isn't meringue at all, cloyingly sweet, and this recipe would greatly benefit from a real meringue frosting. About the only good thing about this recipe was the jello filling, which I feel would have been better with more lemon.
