I NEVER do the whole rate/review, but this recipe is totally worth it! Absolutely delicious and I highly recommend that you use the cardomum. It would have been nice to know that this recipe makes a humongous loaf, but my husband polished it off with no problem.

I made this for Easter this year, and it turned out exactly like the photo....the bread was delicious, although a bit 'heavy'. I think next time I'd half it and make two smaller loaves. I'm not sure if anyone else noticed, but the ingredients call for 6 cups flour, and then the directions says add only 2 cups...I figured it was a typo, but I thought I'd put it out there so it can be corrected. Thanks for a fantastic new recipe!

The first Easter sweet bread that was so easy to make that I am so pleased I tried this today for the Holiday. I did add more sugar but this was a snap to make. I didn't use the hard boiled eggs. I am so happy to have been involved with ALLRECIPES.COM.
