Great! I needed to make 50 biscuits and tried a recipe with hardened butter, too time consuming. I tried this and it is fast and easy. Better tasting too! No cream of tarter. They are flaky and tasty. Used mix of milk and buttermilk.

More salt. No cream of tartar. Other than that, these were great. I added fresh basil, lemon thyme and sage to my batter for an herb biscuit. The recipe says to bake for 8-12 minutes. I put them in for 10 minutes and the bottoms burnt. With that in mind, I would suggest closer to the 8 minute mark.

I love this recipe! I sometimes adapt it: adding fresh rosemary when serving with lamb stew, sometimes adding cheese (just because I am a cheese addict!) I am going to try adding blueberries and lemon zest, then finishing off with a light sprinkle of fine sugar on top.

These were super easy and quick. I didn't have any cream of tartar so i just used extra baking powder instead. I served them with gravy and they were delish! I had to cook them for more like 15 minutes.

Excellent. Even my 2 year old can make these. I measure just out ingredients. She dumps them in the bowl and mixes. She then spoons them out onto the tray. This last bit requires some supervision. I make a 1/2 recipe and end up with 9 half dollar size biscuits. Perfect every time.

Great and FAST way to start a biscuit morning! I use an ice cream scoop to lay each biscuit on parchment paper cookie sheet. Didn't have cream of tarter and came out great. Also, they reheat in oven perfectly. I don't think anyone could mess these up!! I think the bigger the scoop the better the biscuit, although you will only get 6-8 biscuits!! Oh, they freeze nicely too.
