This was iteresting to try, but I have made other dressings that my family liked much better. The evaporated milk curdled when the vinegar was added, making an unpleasant texture in the dressing. Interesting idea to try, though. Thanks!

Pretty good. I liked the dressing even though I had to make a few changes. I had no evap milk so I used 3tblspns of low fat sour cream, 2tblspns of skim milk, 1tblspn olive oil and about 2tblspns of the vinegar. Used dried dill instead of fresh and onion powder instead if onion salt. Yummy dressing, simple salad. Thanks!

I prefer mildly flavored salad dressings and my salads very lightly dressed but even at that Hubs and I both thought this dressing weak and wanting. It's pretty flat, actually, and unattractively thin. It could use a flavor bump with extra seasoning and the thickness of some sour cream.

Very nice salad. I left out the onions (our preference)but kept everything else as written. We really enjoyed the creamy dill dressing. May use another reviewers advice and add grilled chicken to make as a main meal for those hot evenings when you just don't want to eat a big meal.

Wonderful taste and so easy to make. I added some cooked chicken lightly seasoned with lemon pepper to the salad to make it a main course salad, and also added chopped mushrooms, green peppers and some fresh grated parm. It's fabulous!

I loved the tangy dressing. This is an easy summer side salad and I'll be making it often.

This is a delicious salad and dressing. I prepared it for dinner and ate the rest for lunch the next day. I didn't have the cherry tomatoes but added sliced carrots, chopped almonds and a few dried cranberries. Thank you, Catherine, I will surely make this again.
