NESTLE® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
2 1/4 cups
1 1/2 cups
butter or margarine, softened
2 (2.1 ounce) bars
NESTLE® BUTTERFINGER® Candy Bar, coarsely chopped
This is what I did in the batter: 1C pnb chips (no other chocolate chips). Also, I used 1C sugar because of the streusel topping I put on. For the streusel top I used: 1/2C flour, 1/2C w sugar, 1/3C pnb, 4T butter. A sprinkling of pnb chips, milk choc chips, semi sweet chips. With Reese Minatures cut in half.
I took this to work for a birthday and it was a huge hit! The only thing was we wished we had milk to go with it... it's very rich.
I took this to a family event and everyone loved it. Although, I added about 2 tablespoons more butter than what the recipe called for because it wasn't creamy like it was supposed to be. I also put 2 chopped butterfingers on top instead of 1. It covered much better that way.
Best cake ever! Not too sweet or rich either. A must for anyone who loves peanut butter.
