1 cup brown sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup butter, diced
This is great. I use it to make Cherry Crumb pie. Use a pre-made pie shell, a can of cherry pie filling, and this topping, then bake. Makes a great quick and easy dessert!
Not sure if I did something wrong, but I ended up with a large hard top crust that we ended up picking up as a whole and eating with our fingers. Tasted fine, but didn't come out as a crumble.

Delicious and easy. I put the mixture in the oven by itself for about 10 minutes and used it to top a no-bake pie. UPDATE: I made the apple pie filling from Grandma Ople's Apple Pie (from this site) and topped with this instead of pie crust. My family loved it!
This is a wonderful simple recipe...I added in some oats..and it came out delicious!!!
This is my standard dessert topping. For a twist on the theme, add some toasted finely chopped walnuts or pecans.
I was a bit hessitant about using that amount of sugar, because my pie is sweet, so i decreased it to 3/4 cup and it came out perfect! it was sweet and simple.
ive made this twice now. i had to increase the butter by 2 tbs. and cut b. sugar down to 3/4 cup instead of 1 cup... much better this way!
This is so easy and delicious! I make it ahead, freeze it and if I decide to make a small fruit crisp, I take out what I need and place it back in the freezer to use again. Thanks for sharing a great recipe!
