This was not too difficult of a recipe, but there was a problem with the dough being too sticky. I had to add another cup of flour to make it workable, though the dough was still a bit sticky afterwards, however, at the same time I didn't want to add too much flour either. The other problem was how flavor-less these doughnuts were. Yes, they were light and fluffy but had NO taste/flavor whatsoever. I had to add cinnamon to my glaze because the doughnuts tasted like nothing. It took me about 3 1/2 hours from start to finish (I only fried about 8 doughnuts to test it out). After that I stopped because the doughnuts didn't taste like anything. Maybe if this recipe called for nutmeg or something, it would probably end up tasting a little better. But time to keep searching for another doughnut recipe.
