Creamy Whipped Frosting

Original Recipe Yield 1 frosting for 9x13 inch cake
 

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 2/3 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup cold evaporated milk

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, cream butter, shortening, sugar and vanilla for 8 to 10 minutes. With mixer on high, add cold evaporated milk 1 tablespoon at a time.
  2. Frost cake as desired and keep refrigerated.
