Creamy Parmesan and Sun-Dried Tomato Chicken Penne

  1. Cook pasta as directed on package. Drain well.
  2. Meanwhile, melt butter in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add chicken; cook and stir 5 minutes or until lightly browned. Add Seasoning Mix, tomatoes, cream and cheese. Bring to boil, stirring constantly with wire whisk until well blended. Reduce heat to low; simmer 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in pasta; toss gently to coat. Serve with additional Parmesan cheese, if desired.

  • Tips: Shrimp Variation: Use 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined, in place of the chicken. Cook and stir shrimp in melted butter 2 minutes. Continue as directed.

I made this tonight and my whole family really enjoyed it. The next time I make it I will definitely add mushrooms. It was simple and quick and great to have a meal that only requires 1 pot and 1 skillet to make.

This was a little bland as is for my liking. Next time I will add tomato with chili, onions, garlic, and bacon. When re-heating the left overs I added some bacon and that really enhanced the favors.

This was pretty good. I thought it had too much flavor though from the McCormick package. I think next time I will use half of it and add some bigger tomato pieces and mushrooms.

This was a quick dish to make! I was surprised at how great it tasted. Something you might find at an Italian restaurant. I added some mushrooms and spinach for extra veggies. I will be making this again!

This is one of my favorite McCormick Gourmet spice mixes! I love creamy pasta dishes...especially with chicken! I used light cream instead of heavy cream and it was still delicious! These spice mixes really make the dish taste gourmet!

This was fantastic! We couldn't find the McCormack seasoning for sun-dried tomatoes. Instead we used the Sweet Basil and Oregano Bruschetta seasoning and it was delicious. Also, some of us added some red pepper flakes for a little kick. Definitely a keeper.
