This was amazingly good. I did use lowfat milk rather than evaporated milk but it was still very good. I actually made this frosting to mix in with my chocolate cake crumbs to make moist cake pops. They turned out fantastic with this frosting! Best part about this frosting: NO EGGS!

Perfect! I made this exactly as given in recipe, and with only a TBSP more powdered sugar, consistency was creamy and absolutely devine! Sweet but not overly sweet, chocolaty, my new go-to frosting!

I have NEVER commented on a recipe on this site and I've been using this site for years!!! The BEST chocolate frosting I've ever made in my LIFE!!! I doubled the batch to fill an 8 inch cake and it was just PERFECT!

Nice basic frosting recipe. Not super super sweet, but still pretty sweet, I prefer something less sweet but this is a nice neutral ground to go by. It turned out smooth and easy to spread on the cake. I made a batch and a half of this to cover a double layer 9 inch cake, I had a little left over but I'm not sure if one batch would have done it.

So easy to put together. I just tossed it all in the bowl at the same time and mixed it. The longer you beat it, the fluffier it gets. I usually have most of the ingredients already in the kitchen. Taste so much better than the stuff you get in the can at the store. Fam loves it.

Simply put. One of the best chocolate frosting recipes I've ever tried. A big hit with the entire extended family and at birthday parties. You can't go wrong. I use regular milk to the consistency that I need for spreading.
