Directions

  1. Cook pasta as directed on package. Meanwhile, cook chicken and onions in hot oil in large skillet for 6-8 min. or until chicken is done, stirring frequently. Add snow peas, red peppers and garlic; cook and stir 1 min. Remove from heat; cover to keep warm.
  2. Melt butter in medium saucepan. Stir in flour until well blended. Gradually stir in milk. Bring to boil; cook on medium heat 2 min. or until thickened, stirring constantly. Add cream cheese, grated cheese, salt and black pepper; cook 1-2 min. or until cream cheese is completely melted and sauce is well blended, stirring constantly.
  3. Drain pasta; place in large bowl. Add chicken mixture and sauce; toss to coat. Top with parsley.

I made this recipe exactly as written. The taste was delicious but we found that the sauce was too thick. Will add more milk to it next time. But 2 fussy eaters ate it up and asked for it to be put in our favourite recipes to serve again and again.

AMAZING! we have a famous restaurant here by the name of Butlers! and the food there is amazing! this is as goood as that! and im an amateur cook! dint use the cheese they mention, I use 6oz cream cheese and half cup mozarella and cheddar each. ya very rich, bt sometime we deserve it. I use this receipe to treat myself. i skip the peas, and use black and red pepper, since me and family like spicy food. =D The only italian i can cook Really nice ;) *high five*

easy enough for a weekday meal. I made exatcly as written except i used real grated parm cheese only because it was all i had. It taste good but kind of bland...i will make again but play with the spices a little bit...has potential
