Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 3 tablespoons white sugar
  • 2 cups cornflakes cereal
  • 1/2 cup flaked coconut
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 3 tablespoons butter

Directions

  1. Combine corn syrup, sugar and butter in medium size sauce pan. Bring to boil over medium heat stirring constantly. Continue boiling 5 minutes, while stirring. Remove from heat.
  2. Add remaining ingredients, mixing thoroughly.
  3. Drop by level tablespoonfuls onto waxed paper or buttered baking sheets; cool until firm.
