  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/4 cups rolled oats

  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Spoon brown and white sugar into mixing bowl, add 1/2 cup margarine or butter, cream well. Add 1 egg and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, mix well.
