"This coffee liqueur will warm you and yours next to a fire during the winter season."

Original Recipe Yield 26 ounces
 

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons instant coffee powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 20 fluid ounces vodka

Directions

  1. Put white sugar, water, instant coffee, and vanilla extract in a 2 quart saucepan and bring to a boil. Simmer 5 minutes.
  2. Put coffee mixture in fridge to cool. When cool, skim off scum and add vodka, stir and pour into bottles.
