Original Recipe Yield 1 - 9 inch pie
 

Ingredients

  • 1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch single crust pie
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup flaked coconut

Directions

  1. Mix together sugar, flour, and nutmeg. Beat in eggs. Add milk and butter or margarine, and stir. Stir in coconut. Pour filling into unbaked pie shell.
  2. Bake at 425 degrees F (220 degrees ) for 25 minutes.
