Classic Cherry Sauce

Original Recipe Yield 2 cups

Ingredients

1 (12 ounce) jar cherry preserves
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

Combine all ingredients. Simmer for five minutes. Serve warm.
If using as a glaze, brush glaze on your favorite Cook's brand ham 30 minutes before meat is done. Ham should be cooked uncovered for final 30 minutes.
