Original recipe makes 8 1 cup servings Change Servings


  1. COOK peppers, onion and garlic in oil in large saucepan on medium-high heat 2 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir in ground burger; cook 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. ADD remaining ingredients. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. SERVE with your favorite chili toppings, if desired.

This recipe is easy, delicious, and healthy! I substitute Boca crumbles for ground beef in almost all of my cooking. I normally just add prepackaged chili seasoning (instead of the cumin and chili powder) and a jalepeno. I've served this to guests before, and no one has ever known that it's not beef!

Awesome chili! Thank goodness for Boca! I use it for everything. For this recipe I also added some really great roasted red pepper marinara, a few sundried tomatoes, taco sauce, frozen corn, and just a dash of Wright's Hickory Seasoning Liquid Smoke. This was better than any real-beef chili I ever had when I ate meat!

I really liked this, and am about to make it the second time, though this time I'm going to buy chili beans in a spicier sauce.
