This is the best peanut butter cookie recipe I've tried! I only added the coconut and skipped the raisins, chocolate chips and peanuts this time. Everything abbout this cookie is perect: texture, flavor, appearance. Thank you!

so delicious! I only made very minor changes. I used scant amounts of sugar, rapadura for the brown sugar, ground the oatmeal, used half milk chocolate chips and half dark ('cause that's all I had on hand), added some vanilla extract, and only did half a cup of peanuts. Thank you for such a scrumptious recipe!

I made these twice. The first time, I followed the recipe exactly, but found the dry roasted peanuts left a weird taste. My husband's first comment after taking a bite was, "Did you use wheat flour?" That's not quite what it tasted like, but I could see why he thought so. Today, I eliminated the dry roasted peanuts and used all extra crunchy peanut butter. (So 2 cups for a full batch.) They were wonderful.

Everyone enjoyed! I added 1/2 semi sweet chocolate chips and 1/2 peanut butter chips and walnuts. Next time I would use chunky peanut butter instead of chopping up peanuts to save time. Awesome recipe that you can put your own twist on! Thanks

Theses are excellent, and work well with lots of substitutions. Add walnuts if you have them, almond extract for a different flavor, crunchy peanut butter, dried fruits, etc. These are delicious no matter what I have laying around to throw in.

THE BEST PEANUT BUTTER COOKIE RECIPE EVER!!! I wanted a quick cookie to make, without having to shop, so I instantly looked up peanut butter recipes. I found this one, and omitted the choc. chips, peanuts, raisins, and coconut, because I didn't have any. I used crunchy instead of creamy peanut butter. The results were AMAZING! I wouldn't even bother adding the extra ingredients, because the plain peanut butter cookies were perfect. Soft, chewy, and perfectly sweet! DELICIOUS!

very very good cookies. A nice change to the regular peanut btuter cookies. This is a nice texture filled with chunks of peanuts, choc chips, sweetened raisins, etc. I also added in some sweetened orange flavored cranberries. To the wet ingredients I added 1 tsp vanilla extract. combined all ingredients, baked for 15 minutes. Recipe servings are 36 cookies but I ended up with 48. that is ok because it all went very fast into everyone's tummy. a keeper recipes.

My kids enjoyed these. I call them trail mix cookies. I substitute Spectrum organic palm oil shortening for the butter in order to make them dairy free (and soy free). The batter tends to fall apart but the cookies hold together once they've cooled on the rack.

Fast, easy to make cookies. If you are using non-American peanut butter I'd suggest not adding any salt as it is usually salty enough (I used Skippy). Plus since I am in China and don't have access to all the ingredients it's fine to leave some out, add some extra in. I added Vanilla essence, about 2tbls cocoa and left out coconut, raisins, and peanuts (I used crunchy PnB instead). Good solid recipe :D
