By: kitty_catxx
"These little chocolate treats are great for any type of occasion. I make them and give them as gifts for Eid. They taste quite sweet but are addictive. And best of all they are easy to do."

Original Recipe Yield 25 servings

Ingredients

  • 6 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 1/2 cups butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk chocolate or semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup flaked sweetened coconut

Directions

  1. Combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a mixing bowl. Mix until evenly moistened.
  2. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe glass or ceramic bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring after each melting, for 1 to 3 minutes (depending on your microwave). Do not overheat or chocolate will scorch. Stir the melted chocolate into the graham cracker mixture, you may need to use your hands to make sure it is evenly combined.
  3. Shape into 1 inch balls and roll them in the coconut. Store in an airtight container.

Footnotes

  • Cook's Note
  • As the mixture cools they are more difficult to shape so it helps to make these with friends or children to speed up the process.
