This cake has barely any chocolate flavor. All I could taste was sugar and flour in the cake. The glaze was also disappointing. Will not make this again.

I love this recipe. I've made it at least 4 times and it is always a huge hit. The first couple times I made it was in a gas oven, now I have an electric oven and the cooking times are different. It still comes out great, I just have to keep an eye on it & keep checking. I highly, highly recommend this recipe!

Our family's new favorite cake! Totally yummy. It's dense all right--it's a pound cake, it's SUPPOSED to be dense! Note: I used only 1 c. of chocolate chips for the cake (because that's all I had on hand), and we all thought that was enough. I used a powdered-sugar/butter/cocoa frosting (from this site) instead of the glaze because I didn't have the ingredients, and this was also delicious.

Great cake although very rich. I would suggest cutting the glaze/frosting recipe in half; the suggested quantity yielded way too much.
